So, I've been in Washington state for about 6 weeks now. Spent a good amount of time in Seattle, but so far my favorite part has been the hiking. Unfortunately, the weather has been perfectly clear and sunny for the vast majority of the trip, I was really hoping for some rain. Being from southern California, I'm not used to having a lot of rain, and I have been craving the experience. Hopefully I get some normal (for Washington) weather soon. In the meantime, I'll take advantage of "the evergreen [state's]" bountiful hiking trails. This weekend looks promising with a potential trip to Mt. Rainier, and some snow covered hikes, (which I love) and a perfect opportunity to utilize my new Canon rebel t4i. For the sake of non-disclosure agreements, let's just call this experience a "working vacation" (which, let's be honest, it pretty much is) during which I have the opportunity to see more of the western United States than I ever expected to.
A friend of mine has been telling me for a while now that I should start a blog, and that's a big part of how this one started. Lately he's been interrupting me when I start talking about something he doesn't find interesting with "You know, that would be perfect to add to your blog." So, here we are, a blog about my traveling experiences, and things that interest me.
